Kelvin Hoefler and Rassya Leal Win 2023 SLS Chicago

Street League Skateboarding kicked off the 2023 SLS Championship Tour in Chicago on Saturday with it’s NEW knockout round format. When the dust settled, it was Brazil holding the gold for both Women’s and Men’s. Rayssa Leal jumped up into first place in the Women’s Finals on her last attempt with a front blunt down the hubba, which held up as Momiji broke her board attempting to frontside 5-0 front shuv out on the last attempt of best trick, securing the win for Leal. Afterwards, Kelvin Hoefler came through in the clutch in the Men’s Final on the very last trick attempt with a perfect cab back tail down the long hubba to nudge Ryan Decenzo out of first place and secure the victory for Men’s, and his first SLS Gold Medal since his 2015 win, that just so happened to be in Chicago.

Take a look at all the action that went down last weekend in the live replay of the Men’s Knockout Round, and the Women’s and Men’s Final livestream, and check out more highlights from the contest on the Street League Skateboarding Instagram page.

Congratulations Kelvin and Rayssa!!
