Longtime Berrics homegirl Leticia Bufoni has left her sponsor of two years, Plan B Skateboards. (Bufoni joined the team in November 2017.) Plan B officially announced the split this morning, via the brand’s Instagram:
“Thank you Leticia Bufoni for your time on Plan B. We wish you good luck in all of your future endeavors.”
There’s no word yet on where Bufoni is headed.
Bufoni’s history with The Berrics is deep. In 2009, she participated in Ladies Night At The Berrics (back at the original Myers St. location). At just 16, she was skating the stair set with energy and grace that usually distinguishes more seasoned skaters. Bufoni impressed us then, and 10 years later we’re still in awe. Contest victories, street parts, a Battle Commander, and even representing her country in the upcoming Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games—it’s incredible what someone can do when you give them a little PUSH.
