‘MACBA Life’ Renovates The Barcelona Plaza’s World Famous Ledge

MACBA Life has been covering the action at Barcelona’s global skate mecca for over five years, and the brand doesn’t just broadcast the latest from the famous plaza—it actively promotes keeping the spot sustainable. Last year’s ‘Save MACBA’ campaign successfully thwarted the city’s skateboard ban, and MACBA Life has used its recent collaboration with Volcom to spread the word about keeping the plaza clean and inviting. Thousands of out-of-towners show up every year hoping to get their urethane on that famous concrete, but many of them don’t stick around to tidy up after the party is over.

MACBA Life’s latest video shows the ledge’s renovation effort, realigning the top plates and re-caulking (hee-hee) the gaps. This global skate mecca was definitely due for a tune-up.
