Madars Apse Spends Time With Blind Skater Dan Mancina In Red Bull’s ‘Skate Tales’
Red Bull‘s latest video series, ‘Skate Tales,’ is a six-part exploration of skateboarding’s underground element, hosted by famous outlier Madars Apse. The series continues with its third episode, as Apse meets one of the most recognizable faces in the adaptive skateboarding movement, blind skater Dan Mancina. Mancina started losing his eyesight at the age of 23 due to a degenerative eye disease called Retinitis Pigmentosa. Nevertheless, he has adapted to his circumstances and found some inventive ways to continue skateboarding. Watch some of his, and Apse’s, recent projects with The Berrics, below:
