MARCUS SHAW’S NEW PART HIGHLIGHTS OSLO’S PLAZA LIFE

Teaterplassen, with its ample ledges and benches—and pedestrians—is a world class plaza in the heart of Oslo. This is where Marcus Shaw chose to film his latest edit, “Teater Plaza,” in which he explores every nook and unwaxed cranny of this glorious skatespot. It seems like a bold move to dedicate a full part to one spot, but Shaw has lines for days (and in this case four months, from June to October of this year) and easily fills up 10 minutes with precision and powerful pop. Shaw’s “Teater Plaza” also features Magnus Bordewick and Jacob Elveli, and was filmed and edited by Jonas Skulstad Murstam.
