Meet MTN DEW Pros Malto, Duran, Beasley & Colbourn In Iowa This Sunday
MTN DEW® to Give Locals an Opportunity to Skate with Pro Skateboard Team Members Sean Malto, Mariah Duran, Theotis Beasley, Chris Colbourn and Friends at Lauridsen Skatepark following Dew Tour on Sunday, July 31st
Pro skaters to unlock Dew Tour skate course with LA skater Lamont Holt and motivational speaker/blind skater Anthony Ferraro as part of the MTN DEW ‘Skateboarding is Unstoppable’ Nationwide Campaign
What: This is the final event of the five-stop MTN DEW Unlock the Spot skateboarding tour that unlocked off-limits skate spots across the country with locals in the hometowns of MTN DEW professional skateboarders Sean Malto, Mariah Duran, Theotis Beasley, and Chris Colbourn. The Des Moines event comes on the heels of the Summer Dew Tour and will unlock the otherwise off-limits Dew Tour competition course, offering local skate enthusiasts a chance to ride with the pros. MTN Dew Unlock the Spot: Des Moines will feature an open skate jam and photo ops with the MTN DEW skateboarding team alongside influential LA skate content creator, Lamont Holt and blind skater/motivational speaker Anthony Ferraro. MTN DEW product samples and free giveaways will also be available for participants and attendees.

Event Details: On Go Skate Day, MTN DEW launched a new summer skateboarding campaign, “Skateboarding Is Unstoppable.” The campaign celebrates and amplifies how far skateboarding has progressed and rolled out throughout July, ahead of Dew Tour at Lauridsen Skatepark in Des Moines, July 29 – 30.
As part of the campaign, professional street skaters Sean Malto, Mariah Duran, Theotis Beasley and Chris Colbourn returned to their hometowns to unlock spots and give local skaters an opportunity to ride otherwise off-limits areas across the country. The tour ends at the Lauridsen Skate Park where MTN DEW professional skaters will unlock the Dew Tour competition course to give the local community a chance to skate with the entire team in Des Moines, Iowa at Lauridsen Skatepark.
