Theotis Beasley, Lamont Holt, and Anthony Ferraro to Skate the El Segundo Recreation Park with Local Skateboarders as Part of the MTN DEW “Skateboarding is Unstoppable” Nationwide Campaign
What: This event is the second of five MTN DEW “Unlock the Spot” skateboarding events happening in the MTN DEW skate team’s hometowns across the country to celebrate the MTN DEW “Skateboarding is Unstoppable” nationwide campaign. The second “Unlock the Spot” event will take place in El Segundo, California, at Recreation Park and will feature an open skate jam and photo ops with professional skateboarder Theotis Beasley, and influential content creators Lamont Holt and Anthony Ferraro. MTN DEW product samples will also be available for participants and consumers who attend. Additionally, MTN DEW will be giving back to the skateboarding community by donating skateboards and helmets to the local LA chapter of the Chill Foundation.

Event Details: On Go Skate Day, MTN DEW launched a new summer skateboarding campaign, “Skateboarding Is Unstoppable.” The campaign celebrates and amplifies how far skateboarding has progressed rolls out ahead of the upcoming Dew Tour at Lauridsen Skatepark in Des Moines, Iowa, July 29 – 30.
As part of the campaign, professional MTN DEW street skater, Theotis Beasley, is heading to El Segundo, California on July 10 to unlock the otherwise off-limits El Segundo Recreation Park for local skateboarding enthusiasts. “I can’t wait to skate El Segundo Recreation Park with the locals,” says Beasley. “It’s dope that MTN DEW is unlocking spots that aren’t usually available to skateboarders. I’m looking forward to celebrating this awesome Skateboarding is Unstoppable campaign by skating with the crew in El Segundo.”
The rest of the MTN DEW pro skate team, including Sean Malto, Mariah Duran, and Theotis Beasley, will continue to unlock the spots throughout July in each athlete’s hometown to celebrate Skateboarding is Unstoppable. Each event will give local skaters an opportunity to ride otherwise off-limits skate spots across the country. The grassroots tour will end after the conclusion of the Summer Dew Tour with the entire team in Des Moines, Iowa at Lauridsen Skatepark on July 31.
