When Zion Wright won PHXAM this year, it was obvious to the world that this seventeen-year-old Floridian has something special. We were lucky enough to meet Zion early on, and his ability is second only to his friendly demeanor and easygoing vibe; even when he’s been battling a trick for a while, he seems to just exude fun. That quality will get him far, especially when he can back it up with the sheer amount of work he’s been putting in. Zion’s mountain of output is impressive—this is the Next New Wave at its peak.
