At this point in her career, Nora Vasconcellos needs no introduction. She had a banner year in 2017 that included turning pro for Welcome and winning the Vans Park Series World Championship in Shanghai. All of this culminated in today’s release of adidas Skateboarding’s “Nora”—a 20-minute documentary directed by Giovanni Reda.
The film takes a look at Nora’s early life and how she got into skateboarding. It shows how her passion and dedication to her craft led her to where she is today. But, and perhaps most interestingly, it examines the things about Nora, her artistic pursuits and style both on and off her skateboard for example, that make her a standout among skateboarding’s latest crop of pros.
