OFFICIAL TOKYO 2020 OLYMPICS PICTOGRAMS RELEASED
The countdown to the Olympics is getting serious. The 500-day mark was passed last week, and the official “pictograms” were unveiled last week to note the occasion. And you could say that the one for “skateboarding” is just a straight-up disaster.
Masaaki Hiromura designed these bad boys based on the pictograms from the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. Signs for each sport (or “disciplines” if we’re all still shy to use that term) will be posted through the city so people—i.e. skaters—will know where they’re going.
