REAL’S ‘OUT OF SIGHT’ PUTS SPOTLIGHT ON THE TREASURE ISLAND DIY
REAL didn’t set out to make a full-length documentary about the Treasure Island DIY, but they just kept the cameras rolling. Well, “Roll Forever” is the brand’s motto, after all. During the first build at the Bay Area DIY the po-po showed up, but the renegades kept going.
This trailer for Manifest Destiny (the latest entry in the company’s “Out Of Sight” series) depicts the good, the bad, and the ugly of doing it yourself—from pouring ‘crete to meeting with bureacrats—but, as with most stuff in skateboarding, the good outweighs the bad by a large margin.
