Paul Rodriguez Examines The ‘State Of Skate’ With ESPN

Last July, the news broke that Paul Rodriguez suffered a major knee injury that was going to keep him off of his board for at least a year. He tore his ACL, MCL, and meniscus all at once. But he’s back on his board, and has even had some clips in Primitive’s recent full-length Encore. P-Rod is certainly in it for the long haul, so ESPN’s Clinton Yates sat down with him to examine the “state of skate” for World Of X Games.

In the interview, which touches on a few highlights from P-Rod’s career, can be summed up in one word: Interesting. No one knows what the future will hold for our culture once the Olympics blows it up (it’s like, literally a year away), but tis the season to be thankful that Rodriguez is holding it down for us.

P-Rod has been a regular at The Berrics since the beginning. BATB champ, Run & Gun champ… The 4 videos below account for 5,835,261 views on YouTube (give or take a few); everybody loves P-Rod.
