In Popsugar‘s latest “F*cking Awesome Females” blog post, the mag sits down with seven female skateboarders to talk about Olympics prospects. Brighton Zeuner, Poppy Starr Olsen, Jordyn Barratt, Shanae Collins, Lizzie Armanto, Shani Bru, and Grace Marhoefer give some insight into what drives them and how they see next year’s Games contributing to the culture.

All of the skaters lay it out pretty well for the nonskating readers, but France’s Bru has probably the most succinct summation of how many competing skaters will see the Olympics: “It’s not something I have to do. I’m just trying to do my best.” Read the entire piece at Popsugar here.
