Powell-Peralta’s Kilian Martin Talks About His Humble Beginnings In ‘Skateboard Stories’

Kilian Martin has become a world-renowned skater through his series of Brett Novak-directed short films, successfully breaking through to a mainstream audience with a hybrid style of skating that is exceptionally easy on the eyes. By mixing street and freestyle, Martin has been able to use his background in gymnastics as a “springboard” for his skate progression.

In Powell-Peralta’s “Skateboard Stories,” Martin shares his thoughts on skateboarding as an artform. That’s right: We’re all artists; get used to it.
