Primitive Partners With Children’s Hospital For Charity Collab
Primitive Skateboarding, the brand with one of the most overwhelmingly elite teams in history, has announced a new collab. And, no, this one has nothing to do with condiments or cartoons: The Children’s Hospital x Primitive collection is inspired by a brave young man named Joshua Esquivel who was a friend of the brand until he passed away this month. (Esquivel’s story is highlighted in this edit, along with interviews with his father and medical specialists from Children’s Hospital of California.) This collab features a deck and T-shirt, and Primitive is putting its money where its mouth is by donating ALL proceeds to CHOC and CHLA. WARNING: This is a real tear-jerker; a collab with Kleenex should be next.
No other skateboarding brand could match Primitive’s success in 2019. By ending the year on this humanitarian note the brand shows that it isn’t just all about having the best team and the best videographer (Alan Hannon: We see you!)… P-Rod’s brand is also making time to change lives.
