Primitive Releases New Full-Length ‘Encore’
Primitive Skateboarding, the brand with one of the most overwhelmingly elite teams in history, has released its second full-length, Encore. The brand’s previous full-length was last year’s Never and, at 46 minutes, this one is 50% longer.
Primitive has been dropping unbelievably evolved edits all year long—both team megamixes like the “Testing” series and parts for its pro riders Carlos Ribeiro, Robert Neal, and JB Gillet. And the quality of every video has been stellar, with top-notch filming and editing by former Berrics filmer Alan Hannon responsible for the vibe. Encore is no exception: Hannon kills it again!
Encore premiered last Friday, November 15, at the Montalban Theatre in Hollywood (which has historically been the venue for some of the biggest skate video premieres of the past decade). The video features Rodriguez, Tiago Lemos, Miles Silvas, Gillet, Bastien Salabanzi, Spencer Hamilton, Neal, Marek Zaprazny, Devine Calloway, Ribeiro, Brian Peacock, Wade Desarmo, Franky Villani, and Trent McClung, with ams Tre Williams and Giovanni Vianna.
