Oslo, Norway’s Solo Skate Mag has become a one-stop shop for unique premieres, and this week they managed to snag an amazing full part/interview with Lyon, France’s Mika Germond. The part, from Rave Skateboards’ Family & Friends video, serves as Germond’s introduction to the team (he previously rode for Antiz) and he has an eye for finding tricky/challenging spots. You could say that Germond is a gourmand for interesting spots: he just eats that shit up.
Germond’s interview touches on why he left Antiz and what’s so appealing about Bordeaux’s Rave, saying, “They like to do what they want and they don’t really care about what is trendy at the moment.” And when you watch his unique part, above, featuring tricks like a boardslide stalefish street grab, you’ll see that Germond and Rave are like two peas in a pod.
