THE STORY BEHIND RAY BARBEE’S NEW SIGNATURE INDYS

Ray Barbee and the artist Thomas Campbell go way back. Skateboarding’s style god has not only frequently enlisted Campbell to produce his albums, but Barbee also gives him full rein on the cover, as well, with Tiara For Computer being their most recent musical collaboration. When it came time to design Barbee’s latest signature truck for Independent, it was only natural to enlist Campbell to do the art. This behind-the-scenes video gives a little background to the team’s history, but also features Barbee doing the do on Downtown LA’s tightest transitions. He hasn’t missed a beat.
