Real Reissues Cairo Foster’s ‘Hammerhead’ Model In Support Of Ben Raemers Foundation
For Real Skateboards’ latest Actions Realized release, the brand enlisted Cairo Foster, a pro who first started riding for them in the late ’90s. Actions Realized is reissuing Foster’s ‘Hammerhead’ model (his second graphic for Real), with part of the profit going directly to The Ben Raemers Foundation to continue their work for suicide prevention and mental health advocacy in skateboarding and beyond. Raemers, who was British pro and all-around genuinely nice guy, passed away in May 2019 at the age of 28. He was known as the giddy source of positivity within the Enjoi Skateboards team, having a blast and stoking out his friends on every sesh. In a more public sense, his how-to videos for the RIDE Channel were referenced by many thousands of skaters; he may have even helped you to progress a little further in your own skateboarding.
