DECK CHAIR — Meta Skate Furniture
Sure, there have been many chairs made from skateboards in the past. But few, if any, have been constructed from decks that have custom art from the likes of Annu Kilpeläinen, Ged Wells, Fos, Mark Ward, and Yue Wu, and were actually ridden by skaters before being constructed. That’s exactly what the design studio Rosie Lee did for its latest non-commercial project. The process and execution on this resulted in a functional work of art that can be appreciated by skaters and non-skaters alike. This might be the most meta piece of skate furniture ever created.
