RVCA — New York Trip
When MTV was launched in 1981, the first thing played was “Video Killed the Radio Star” by The Buggles. This choice was clearly made to highlight how video would revolutionize the way that music is experienced. The same sentiment can be applied today to Instagram and skateboarding. For better or worse, things will never be the same.
RVCA is currently in New York with a crew consisting of Andrew Reynolds, Spanky, Curren Caples, and Mark Suciu. And, in nearly real time, they released three straight-to-Instagram edits this afternoon that highlight the action that’s gone done thus far. Could this format be the future of the tour video? Time will tell.
