Globe is one of those brands that really live up their name. Whenever a new shoe design is released, Globe doesn’t just send their riders into the parking to test them out; they get sent around the world. Sammy Montano recently came home with paella stains all over his new Surplus after this filming trip in Barcelona, Spain—watch the edit, above!

Last year, we sat down with Globe’s Chet Thomas to get some history behind the brand’s best-selling shoe, the CT-IV. (If you were skating in 2001-2002, chances are your feet were securely nestled in a pair of these bad boys.) Watch the video, below:
