SAMMY MONTANO GETS CONCEPTUAL IN ‘TEMPLE’

Sammy Montano has a stellar reputation for pumping out gorgeous clips. That quality makes him an easy choice for a conceptual film project shot on high-end RED cameras—the camera just loves him! And “TEMPLE,” written and directed by Pierre David & Douglas Guillot is as conceptual as it gets.

The monochrome short follows Montano on a journey through the Balkans and its fallen monuments. The aim of the piece, according to the filmmakers, is “to spiritualize the expression of their magnificent forms, timeless aesthetics, and monumental dimensions. Confronting [the monuments] with skateboarding allowed us to animate this notion of freedom and exploration.” So… “TEMPLE” is not exactly hammer time, but if you’re willing to expand your outlook you’ll be richly rewarded.
