Santa Cruz‘s Erick Winkowski doesn’t ride your typical skateboard deck shapes. Stubby noses, graceful fishtails, deep concaves… his deck designs are distinctive and unique, and they keep getting better with each release. Winkowski reinvents the wheelbase with his new Birdcage Powerply, with variable front truck holes, a rounded tail for more comfortable 360 flips and impossibles, and Cruise Missile 2 concave with a rocker in the middle. And, like all Powerply decks, the Winkowski’s Birdcage model is impact-chip resistant and has a super snappy pop.
