Sean Pablo is the latest skater to sit down for an interview with GQ. He’s a good choice. Sean’s style both on and off the board have become a defining the factor in our current era. The kid (he’s still only 20) just looks iconic in the same way that Jason Lee and Dylan Rieder did at his age in the early ‘90s and mid aughts, respectively. Sean just dropped a great part in Converse’s Purple [2018]—which you can watch online if you haven’t seen it. But that’s not the only section of his to be released in 2018. He confirms that Bill Strobeck’s follow-up to Supreme’s “cherry” [2014] will be coming out at the end of this year in GQ’s new piece. While Strobeck has previously teased that the video is well underway, this is the first that we are hearing of a solid timeline for when it will actually surface.

I’m about half way done. Six more months. The video comes out at the end of the year. We’ve been filming for a year and a half. The pressure is starting to set in. I’ve definitely pulled some weird shit out of my ass that I didn’t think would happen, so we’ll see.
