Check Out This Sneak Peek Of Skateistan’s Bamyan School Build
Skateistan, the nonprofit featured in this year’s Oscar-winning short subject doc Learning to Skateboard in a Warzone (If You’re a Girl), has shared an update on its fifth skate school since kicking off in Kabul. Bamyan, a city with a population of 100,000, is well underway and will be the third skate school to be established in Afghanistan by the nonprofit. By accommodating up to 800 children per week, this skate school (partially designed by the future students themselves) will be making a huge, positive impact in the community.
