Snt4Ever Premieres Sants Documentary ‘En Resumen’
Snt4Ever has premiered its documentary about Sants-Estació, the famous Barcelona plaza that made frequent appearances in classic videos throughout the past 3 decades. En Resumen (“To Sum Up”) was directed by Marcos Lozano Cantillo and edited by Viliyan Todorov, and it aims to explain the complex history of this beloved spot. The doc is based on three oral interviews and a compilation of archival footage recorded solely and exclusively in the plaza, spanning four distinct eras: The early ’90s; the ’00s (also known as the ‘Golden Era’ due to the huge influx of traveling skaters filming for full-lengths); 2010, when the spot was destroyed; and the current era of DIY, self-management, and the creation of an association to participate in the reconstruction of the square. So, yeah, if there was a spot that deserved the full-length doc treatment, it’s Sants! Watch the video, above!
