Patti, a women’s “counter culture” YouTube channel that launched last month, premiered its latest piece this morning. “Stella” focuses on Andrew Reynolds‘s daughter but—with inspiration taken from her dad’s encouraging note—you could say it’s more about growing up. With music by Dope Lemon, “Stella” is a hopeful film that catches all the promise and enthusiasm of a young skater in her wonder years.

Here’s her dad’s note in full:

“I love you Stella, have fun everyday! you are amazing, smart, funny, stylish, go skate, go surf, text your friends. Make plans. YOLO. Look for the good in every situation and person. Have fun. I love you, Dad”
