Stevie Williams: ‘Exchange’

Stevie Williams started skating at a time when his ‘hood considered it a “white boy” activity, and in those early days he was a major catalyst for making Philadelphia’s LOVE Park one of the top all-time skate plazas. Fast forward 30 years: Williams is out skating with his son and, along with his brand DGK, continues to focus on strengthening the community through his ‘Saved By Skateboarding’ board program. Williams shares his story in the latest Berrics x StockX ‘Exchange’ episode.

Join us in celebrating the influence of black and brown skateboarders on our culture—Alphonzo Rawls’s ‘Thank You’ decks are available exclusively via DropX at, and proceeds will support Next Up Foundation and the nonprofit’s mission to encourage kids of all backgrounds to skate.
