TRIBE — A New Short From Stussy
People toss the word iconic around loosely. But when describing Stussy, it’s the most appropriate adjective. The brand has been around since the ‘80s and has definitely been influential on popular culture. It also spawned Supreme; James Jebbia worked for Stussy before opening his first store in 1993.
Stussy has always dabbled in skating. Its current team includes Kevin Terpening, Caleb Barnett, Aaron Loreth, Jesse Alba, Max Klein, and Lance Mountain. TRIBE is the culmination of Jared Sherbert’s vision of the brand in 2017. The Fucking Awesome photographer took on the role of directing the skate program a few years back and has built it into something that is fitting of Stussy’s legacy.
30 years later, the tribe is still alive.
