This is the story of “The L.A. Boys,” a new feature-length documentary by Colin Kennedy, featuring Gabriel Rodriguez, Paulo Diaz, Rudy Johnson, Guy Mariano, and many more skate legends.
You may know the legend, but you sure as hell don’t know all of the details. Kennedy goes deep and unearths some gnarly nuggets of skate history. In this sneak peek of “The L.A. Boys,” we get a skate nerd’s eye view of the Powell-Peralta lair housing every single master tape in the company’s library. The rest is just icing on the cake.
