The impact that these guys would go on to have is immeasurable. After all, Guy Mariano is still a driving force behind skateboarding’s progression 30 years later. And, beyond that, the art direction and vibe of their shared section in Powell Peralta’s Ban This [1989] is still reflected in skateboarding today.
