THEORIES X LAKAI COLLECTION VIDEO, FEATURING ALVAREZ & CRUZ
Lakai has partnered with New York City’s Theories brand for a collab that connects East and West coasts. The video announcing the collection features Chocolate riders Vincent Alvarez and Yonnie Cruz. Theories, an arm of Josh Stewart’s Theories of Atlantis, has become the de facto backbone for independent skate videos and skater-owned brands. Its conspiracy theory motif is a unique calling card that has become strangely prescient over the years. Stewart himself is the mastermind behind the Static video series, in which both Alvarez and Cruz have appeared. Hmmm, sounds like an inside job to us.
The Theories x Lakai collection includes two shoes (with the introduction of the Newport High Top—pictured below), a range of hats and tees, and some dope socks. Available now at a grassy knoll near you.
