In one of the more clever marketing ploys that we’ve seen in a while, Elissa Steamer, Thomas Campbell, Chico Brenes, and Nathaniel Russell age 30 years for Gnarhunters’ latest commercial. This mockumenary on Campbell’s new towel for Steamer’s brand imagines the effect that it has on the world and Campbell’s legacy in the distant future. While it’s definitely reminiscent of Spike Jonze’s works in The Chocolate Tour  in which the Girl team has aged into their twilight years and the younger Chocolate squad must take care them, the narrative in Gnarhunters latest effort takes on a life of its own through its heavy nod to VH1’s Behind the Music series. This is certainly an advertisement that you won’t forget anytime soon. Have a look for yourself above.
