The concept of Off The Grid—skating every square inch of a neighborhood—is fundamental to skateboarding. Koston was the first subject, and while he wasn’t exactly dropped in an unfamiliar territory a la “Man Vs. Wild” (it was basically Koston’s backyard), it had the air of discovery that marked the series for years to come.
