TOREY PUDWILL ALTERS YOUR PERCEPTION OF BENCHES IN RED BULL VIDEO
Red Bull explores the differences in perception between skaters and those who don’t in the first episode of “Alter.” The brand always seems to be coming up with new and interesting ways to creatively feature skating, and this latest series continues that tradition. In the first episode, Torey Pudwill puts a bus stop bench (made for sitting) to good work—you could say the bench is his altar (not alter)—which your average Tom, Dick, and Lizzie (hey Lizzie, what’s up girl!) may not see the endless possibilities of. But skaters are, of course, visionaries.
We’d like to find out where we can find a bus stop like this, though. All the benches in LA are absolutely disgusting. Forget front crooks: you’re more likely to pinch a case of herpes if you touch one of the festering monstrosities on the Metro 60 line.
