VANS SHOWDOWN INVITATIONAL ARRIVES IN HUNTINGTON BEACH NEXT MONTH

Vans has announced that next month’s US Open Of Surfing in Huntington Beach will introduce a new contest: the Vans Showdown. The invitational street contest harkens back to the “Downtown Showdown” events from back in the day, and will feature a street course partially designed Quasi, Toy Machine, Girl, and Baker. The latter brand’s pro Kader Sylla appears in this trippy ass teaser for the occasion. The US Open Of Surfing will take place from August 2 through 4; you can find more information here.
