Canadian Olympic hopeful, and longtime Berrics favorite, Micky Papa was interviewed recently for respected plant-based lifestyle blog VegOutLA. Among Papa’s many insights—and hacks (he adds maple syrup to his coffee… you can take the boy out of Canada, right?)—he talks about doing meditation, yoga, and weight training to work on “muscle imbalances.”

The interview, by Tanya Flink, also touches on the Olympics postponement, which actually didn’t surprise Papa considering the current health crisis. He says, “I just hope that it will be figured out by 2021 and each sport from every country has the fair opportunity to properly train, compete, and qualify.” Awww, that’s our Papa! Read his full interview here.

Micky Papa has been working on those muscle imbalances at The Berrics for a long-ass time. He made it to BATB 9 Finals in 2016, and it is clear that Papa takes his training very seriously: There were months here at The Berrics when it seemed like Papa was the first one through the doors in the morning and the last one we had to kick out of the park at night… every damn day. Check out a few of his projects with us over the years, including his BATB 9 Finals match, below:
