GET A TASTE OF VINTAGE NYC IN VAMPIRE WEEKEND’S ‘SUNFLOWER’
The latest music video off of Vampire Weekend’s Father Of The Bride LP is “Sunflower (ft. Steve Lacey),” and guess who is behind the lens once again? None other than up-and-coming maestro Jonah Hill. The video is a little slice of split-screen magic, washed out in those classic autumn colors associated with NYC mainstay Zabar’s. The eatery plays a supporting role in the video—along with fishy icon Barney Greengrass—not to mention some juicy cameos by a comedian and the OG host of Yo! MTV Raps.
Hill clearly loves the city and its rich history, and the combination of this tune and the video would make anyone wanna book their next ticket to JFK.
