YUTO HORIGOME LEAVES BLIND SKATEBOARDS

This morning, Blind Skateboards made the announcement that Yuto Horigome has the left the team. Horigome first turned heads when we selected him for our Next New Wave series in 2016. He went on to film a Recruit and a dozen other Berrics projects.
There’s no official word on where Horigome will end up. Here’s the full caption from Blind’s Instagram post:
“After an incredible few years Yuto Horigome is off to his next adventure. It has been amazing to see what he has achieved although I’m not surprised. From the first day we went skating together I knew he had a special talent like I’d never seen. Yuto skated his ass off in the streets and contests to get where he is and the rest is history. It’s been a pleasure to have worked with this young man and I’m excited to see what’s next for Yuto and can’t wait to see him represent his home country of Japan in the 2020 Olympics. —Bill Weiss.”
