ZION WRIGHT MADE HIS PRESTIGE CABLE DEBUT LAST NIGHT
Things are really coming together for Zion Wright. He turned pro last November; he got first at Vans Park Series last month; and now he has an Audi Q3 (a required mode of transportation for any up-and-coming pro). Oh, and he appeared in last night’s season four premiere episode of HBO’s Ballers. (He teased a scene on his Insta, sharing the screen with My Booky Wook‘s Russell Brand.)
Wright continues a tradition of skaters appearing on HBO—you may remember Greyson Fletcher‘s beardless turn on John From Cincinnati, or more recently, Kenny Reed on Last Week Tonight—and you might say that he’s officially arrived. Well, he’s driving an Audi Q3 so you could argue that wherever he goes, he’s arrived.
The Ballers episode aired last night on HBO at 10:00 pm. Don’t have HBO? Hulu is offering a free 7-day trial (no strings attached), and you may still be able to catch the season premiere vod for free on the HBO site today.
