Skateboarders as we age and have familes, pay mortages, and create profesional careers, discover the difficulty to designate time for riding a skateboard. More importantly, we feel compelled to hang onto skating by any means necessarry. For some of us it’s a mini in the backyard, or a subsciption to our favorite magazine, for others like John Gibson, giving back to skating takes form in a finely crafted accesory made from old skateboards.
