COREY DUFFEL SHOWS YOU HOW HE’S LIVIN’ IN NEW DOCUMENTARY

Michael Cukr, the filmmaker who made “Throwing Rocks And Staring At The Sun” with Leo Romero, released an awesome mini-doc on the life of Corey Duffel. Duffel introduces you to his hometown of Walnut Creek and he touches on some subjects that aren’t exactly common for skate docs (i.e. anorexia). The video is the first project on Cukr’s new YouTube channel, XORBENT4, and includes a few minutes of new Duffman footage.

Duffel gives you A LOT of insight about his motivation to skate:

“It’s just a trip to think that any success came out of it for me, riding a skateboard. I didn’t skate to get famous; I didn’t skate to prove anything to anybody. It was just ’cause I liked to do it.”

Directed, shot, and edited by Michael Cukr, with additional footage by Kale Neville. Archival footage courtesy of the Duffman.
