Last week, Woodward West launched the 2019 edition of its bracket-style miniramp S.K.A.T.E. competition, ‘Mano a Mano’ (Spanish for “Get the hell off my ramp”). The series kicked off with Erick Winkowski versus Jereme Knibbs, and has been posting new matches every weekday. We’re now into the thick of the right-side of the bracket, as yesterday Daniel ‘D-Vargs’ Vargas faced off against Jake ‘J-Woots’ Wooten. (Shit got pretty weird.) The contest will continue over the next few weeks, with the winner announced on December 26.
