PAY TO PLAY: STEVE CABALLERO HAS BROKEN HIS LEG IN MOTOCROSS ACCIDENT

Legendary Bones Brigade pro Steve Caballero has been laid up indefinitely after breaking his femur in a motocross accident. The off-road sport is one of the most popular Southern California activities, but it’s also one of the more dangerous. (Dirtbikes and quads have taken out quite a few of our friends of late, including ex-TWS editor Brian Blakely.) Cab acknowledges the risk in his caption for the above Instagram post:
“Motocross… it’s not if, it’s when. Broken femur, surgery tonight—never been opened up. Prayers much appreciated everyone, thank you.” (Wait… Cab’s never had surgery?!)
He goes on to add #DontGoOverTheHandlebars and #PayToPlay which suggest that he’s come to accept his situation. Get well soon, Cab!
