LATEST EPISODE OF VANS’ ‘LOVE LETTERS’ PAYS TRIBUTE TO MARK HUBBARD

The death of Mark "Monk" Hubbard left a void in skateboarding that is still being felt months later. As a skatepark visionary (Hubbard founded Grindline Skateparks), his concrete legacy is peppered all over the country, with several international projects spread out as far as Denmark and Israel.

Vans and Jeff Grosso recognized Hubbard’s impact on skateboarding and dedicated a special, heartfelt episode of “Love Letters to Skateboarding” to the man, detailing his upbringing and influence in the community. This is a very detailed piece and a fitting tribute to Hubbard, a skateboarder who changed countless lives.
