13-Year-Old Ginwoo Onodera Makes History at X-Games Japan Men’s Street
X Games kicked off their 2023 contest season this past weekend in Chiba, Japan! In dramatic fashion, it was 13-year-old newcomer Ginwoo Onodera who took the gold medal in his home country, entering his name in the history books as the youngest Men’s Street Gold Medalist in X-Games history.
Ginwoo has been on a contest tear lately; placing 2nd at the 2022 Tampa Am and 3rd in the 2023 World Skate Championships in Sharjah, respectively. Now, Ginwoo takes home his first X-Games Gold Medal in his first appearance in the prestigious contest series. We’ve been fans of Ginwoo for a long time and we’re stoked for his success!
