Jeff Tremaine Directs Liquid Death’s Heavy Metal Grandma Iced Tea Commercial
Liquid Death is no stranger to genius marketing campaigns, and for their latest stab at killing off plastic pollution the brand enlisted the help of legendary director Jeff Tremaine (Jackass) and his Gorilla Flicks production company for their new video promoting Liquid Death Iced Tea aka “Your Grandma’s Energy Drink.” The video features a bunch of hardcore Grandma’s shaking shit up, doing donuts, shooting fireworks out of “you know where”, going a few rounds in the MMA octagon, and grinding a 17 stair (courtesy of Dane Burman). The new LD Iced Tea 19.2oz tallboy has 30 calories, 6 grams of sugar (from agave), B vitamins, and a microdose of caffeine (30mg).
