Starting with early 411s in the ‘90s right up through 2016’s GX1000 video, Mobb Deep has steadily been a part of skateboarding’s soundtrack. There was a period of time when Rodrigo TX refused to skate to anything other than their music. And with 49 hits on skatevideosite.com’s song search, the Mobb may be skateboarding’s most celebrated group of all time. Their second album, titled The Infamous, is hands down the most used of all their releases. Donovan alone used the album three separate times for Buttery Ass Mondays.
