Dew Tour Festival In Long Beach Rescheduled For May 2021

Longtime Berrics collaborators MTN DEW have announced that this year’s Dew Tour skate contests and festival in Long Beach will be moved to next May instead. This news comes as the ripple effects of COVID-19 have forced the historic 2020 Olympics—the first to feature street and park skateboarding events—to reschedule to Summer 2021. Next year’s Dew Tour will serve as the last Olympic qualifying event in the U.S. before the Games in Tokyo.

Nicole Portwood, MTN DEW’s VP of Marketing, says, “We want to be sure we’re taking the necessary steps to help protect our communities around the world, and this includes postponing large-scale events such as the Dew Tour. As tough as this decision is, it’s the right thing to do and gives us even more to look forward to in 2021. We’ll drop in together soon.” You gotta Dew what you gotta Dew.

MTN DEW has been a part of The Berrics experience, off and on, for many years. The brand’s involvement helped bring a lot of rad content to life (our epic New York Week in 2014 springs to mind).
